BLUR

For the architectural exhibition Mextropoli, Mexico City’s Park Plaza Alameda is provided with an accessible installation in a central location. Placed directly around a fountain at the main entrance, visitors are directed on their way and led to the center of the installation near the fountain. Cords spanned onto steel frames produce semi-transparent, curved walls. The visitors perceive less and less of the city around them, layer by layer. Visitors can interact through the walls, see and reach through them. The installation plays with distance and proximity.
