At the entrance to the RoomBoom festival, a spatial installation has been conceived by NAICE Architekten featuring red and white barrier tape hanging from the ceiling.

The strips hang down in different lengths in a dense arrangement and thus form a volume that the visitors have to walk through when entering. The volume seems like a cave, but is disturbing when experienced. The ribbons move with the wind and generate with the superimposition of red and white strips a flickering atmosphere.

BORDERLINE marks the start of the street art festival and challenges the visitors to transgress limits and to allow for new perceptions at the grounds of the festival. In collaboration with the street artist Snyder, it forms transition to the first work by the artist opposite on the building wall. Some of the strips have been treated by the artist and overlap with the wall graffiti.
