STONE.WASH

The three works of art reflect the site's past, a present-day wasteland created by lignite mining, and invite visitors to explore and take possession of it. The huge site is to be gradually transformed into a lake and a large park. The artworks are reminiscent of stone blocks that have been washed away by erosion over time. This erosion represents the energy and movement that have transformed and continue to transform this place.
